XM And DirecTV To Jointly Promote Satellite Radio

Washington, D.C. - XM Satellite Radio and DirecTV today announced a joint marketing agreement designed to promote XM subscriber growth.

Under the agreement, DirecTV satellite television customers will be given value-added offers for subscribing to XM. The program is expected to begin in the next couple of months, said a spokesman.

Specifics of the agreement were not announced.
