The line includes a 10-inch ($89.99) or 12-inch ($99.99) subwoofer offered in dual 2- or 4-ohm configurations. Mounting depths are listed as 3.4 inches on the 10-inch model and 3.6 inches on the 12-inch.
The Shallow models are said to be capable of handling 200 to 500 watts of power and produce typical in-car sound pressure levels of 130 dB. They have 2-inch voice coil diameters, according to the company's website.
Drew Kallen, director of loudspeaker engineering for Rockford Fosgate, said the subwoofers are designed to fit in shallow applications using a one-piece cone.
