Polk Promotes 3 From Within

Polk Audio

promoted three longtime top manager to new positions.

Former sales VP Ben Newhall was promoted to the position of
sales and marketing senior VP. Former product development VP Jeff Nemec was promoted
to product development senior VP. And COO Joe Tristani was promoted senior VP
and COO. All three continue to report to Jim Minarik, chairman, president and
CEO of Polk Audio.

Since

DEI Holdings

bought Polk in 2006, Minarik said, the three “have played a huge role in
leading Polk through this past year’s economic turmoil while simultaneously
gaining meaningful market share in our core product category of home theater
loudspeakers.”

DEI’s other products include Definitive Technology home
speakers and vehicle security and remote-start systems sold under Viper,
Clifford, Python, Autostart and other brands. DEI also supplies mobile audio
sold mainly under the Polk Audio and Orion names.
