Night Owl Vision Brightens The Night

NEW YORK -Night Owl Optics will introduce the Explorer G2-NOXG2 at 2001 International CES. The unit, which the company said represents the cutting edge in night vision, boasts the most technologically advanced night-vision monocular in Night Owl's product line.

The product houses a state-of-the-art Generation-2+ intensifier tube with superior brightness, allowing for a long-range view of 2,300 feet. The G2 provides advanced electronic 5x image magnification, contributing to exceptional brightness, with edge-to-edge sharpness for maximum viewing clarity, the company said.

The unit is compact, waterproof and floatable. It comes with a soft carrying case, and a Camera Adapter (NOCA42) is available. Suggested retail is just less than $1,000.
