Lombard, Ill. --The North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA), here, has developed a strategic partnership with the Hometown Brand Center National Buying Group which will bring NARDA’s education, information and business services to Hometown’s 500 plus member dealers.
Hometown, formed in 1993 and based in Stillwater, Okla., represents independent retailers in 47 states that sell and service appliances, electronics, home furnishings and lawn and garden products.
“By combining our efforts and pooling our resources, we can offer a wide variety of quality educational offerings and services to Hometown members,” said Tom Drake, NARDA president and CEO. “Programs ranging from Vision [business planning] to in-market seminars at their National Dealer Show will allow Hometown members to improve their skills and have more business tools at their disposal.”
