Kodak Gallery Bows iPad App

10/27/2010 09:32:00 AM Eastern

Emeryville, Calif. - The Kodak
online photo sharing service said Wednesday that it has developed
an app for iPad users that will enable them to upload, browse and share photos
stored on the online service on their iPad screens.

"Kodak Gallery continues to leverage technology for customers to
view, store and share their photos through this innovative new app," stated
Victor Cho, Kodak Gallery GM.

Using the Gallery HD iPad app, users can browse, upload and share
photos using the touch gestures of Apple's iOS.

The app features full iPad accelerometer support so users can
rotate landscape and portrait photos.

Slideshow mode shows all the photos in an album using seamless
transitions, the company said.

Users can download the free iPad App for Kodak Gallery through
the iTunes program at the Apple App Store.
