Joby Adds New GorillaPod Models

San Francisco –
Joby has added three new portable tripods to its flagship GorillaPod line of
digital camera accessories, including two Micro versions that are designed to
remain attached the camera at all times.

The GorillaPod
Micro series features a machined aluminum positioning ball with up to 36 degrees
of movement in any direction. The GorillaPod Micro 250 supports point-and-shoot
cameras weighing up to 8.8 ounces, while the GorillaPod Micro 800 supports mirrorless
compact hybrid cameras weighing up to 1.75 pounds.

The Micro tripod
is concealed beneath the base of the camera with a minimal profile to fit in
most camera cases or pockets, Joby said, and features aluminum and zinc-alloy
construction engineered for stability, quick deployment and precise ball
positioning, with colorful rubber-grip footing.

Also new for mirrorless
hybrids is the GorillaPod Hybrid, which supports models up to 2.2 pounds,
features flexible legs and an integrated aluminum ball head with 90-degree tilt
and 360-degree pan capabilities.

The $19.95
GorillaPod Micro 250 is available in gray, red and blue. The GorillaPod Micro
800 retails for $29.95 in gray, while the GorillaPod Hybrid is available in
gray and red for $39.95.

All three new
GorillaPods are available now.
