of America (CCA) appointed
of Elkhart, Ind., as its new national
distributor of OEM marine audio, video and speakers to the marine industry effective
June 1.
Mito is selling to boat
manufacturers as well as to regional marine retailers and marinas, a
spokesperson said. “Clarion is also maintaining some sales responsibility
internally.”
Clarion already
supplies marine audio electronics in the aftermarket and to several boat
manufacturers.
The 12-volt
supplier is expanding its relationship with Mito “to further develop and
strengthen our presence in the marine market,” said Frank Pierce, Clarion’s
aftermarket division VP.
Mito supplies
mobile electronics, two-way radios, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, backup
cameras TVs, home audio and other equipment to the RV, marine, school bus, transit
bus, tour bus, custom golf cart, van conversion, limousine and pool/spa
industries.
