Washington — July sales at the nation’s CE and majap specialty dealers rose 2.8 percent year-over-year to $9.3 billion, according to the U.S. Commerce Department’s latest monthly retail sales report.
Revenue was up 1.0 percent from June, when sales hit $9.2 billion for white- and brown-goods dealers. Year-to-date revenue through July was $59.4 billion, a 3 percent increase over the year-ago period.
Total U.S. retail sales in July were up 2.7 percent year-over-year, the Commerce Department reported.
