The Intimus

Portland, Ore. -
Aperion Audio announced it has added the company's first outdoor speaker, the
Intimus.

"Our goal was
to create an outdoor speaker that comes as close as technically possible to the
performance of our bookshelf speakers, one that would resist the elements and
provide years of reliable use while not compromising on sound quality - and I
believe we've achieved that," said Mike Hopkins, Aperion product
development manager, in a statement.

It features a bass
adjustment switch, an "aimable" mounting system, 1-inch silk-dome tweeter,
6.5-inch dual voice coil, woven-fiberglass woofer, powder-coated metal grille,
weather and UV-resistant ABS polymer cabinet, and five-way gold-plated binding
posts.

The speakers are
offered in white or black for $149. They are currently shipping with a 10-year
warranty.
