Almo CE, Appliance Expo Series Begins

Philadelphia – Almo Corp. kicked off its 2010 Appliance
& Electronics Expo Series in Atlantic City, NJ last week with the enlarged
and redesigned Mid-Atlantic Expo.

The distributor’s free dealer event included a line up of
brands showcasing, and training on, new technologies and product lineups for
2010, along with a host of social events and buying opportunities.

“The training sessions for both Frigidaire
and Samsung appliances were excellent.
Both presentations were packed full of feature benefits that will actually work
on the sales floor,” stated Steve Seidman, owner of CK
Seidman. “Those presentations were the best 1-hour investment of my time
in a long while and without anything else, worth the trip alone.”

Designed to provide experience to Almo’s dealers, this
year’s Expo features training on 3D technology, IPTV technology as well as
in-depth product line trainings from Samsung and Frigidaire. Over 60
manufacturers participated in the 2-day Mid-Atlantic event, Almo said.

“The debut of our new Expo format demonstrated to our
dealers the ideal retail floor configuration which showcases product solutions
designed to be sold and used as a complete home entertainment or appliance
package. This approach takes the guess work out of matching components and
accessories,” noted Jack Halperin, dealer sales VP. “

The 2010 Almo Consumer Electronics and Appliance Expo series
will resume July 28- 29 in St. Louis.

Additional events are being held
August 3-4 in Cincinnati and August 12 in St. Paul, Minn. Registration for the St.
Louis Expo will open in early June. Agendas and event details will be posted on
