New York – The avalanche of tablet PCs continued yesterday with
Acer’s CEO telling the Dow Jones News Service his firm will introduce a device
later this month.
Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci said pricing for the tablets would
range from $299 to $699 and would be officially introduced at an already
announced Acer press event in New York City on Nov. 23. No other product
details were revealed, but the company showed tablet prototypes in May with
screen sizes of 7 and 10-inches.
