Melbourne, Australia — BlueAnt Wireless expanded its line of Bluetooth audio devices with the addition of the rugged Pump HD Sportbuds.
The wireless ear buds feature IP67 waterproof rating and can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes without damage; however, the Bluetooth signal won’t travel beneath water, the company noted, making them not a good choice for swimmers. They’re also said to be resistant to rain, dust, debris and sweat.
Features include 12.5mm drivers, built-in mics, eight-hour battery life, Kevlar and Teflon shielding, 12.5mm diameter drivers, Mylar composite diaphragms, neodymium magnets and overhung voice coils. They come with Comply Premium Awareness tips.
The Pump HD Sportbuds are currently available in black or Green Ice for a $129 suggested retail.
