Gumdrop Offers Customized 3D Printed Tablet Cases

Oakland, Calif. — Gumdrop Cases will begin offering 3D-printed customized versions of its ruggedized Drop Tech and Hideaway tablet cases.

The custom cases can be produced with up to four colors of silicone.

“Customization was a request that we heard over and over again from our clients, especially schools, who were looking for cases with their logos and in their colors,” said Gumdrop co-founder/products VP David Adam. “We wanted to do something unique, and molding the logo into the case is something that no one else is doing. This provides the durable case users expect from Gumdrop with opportunities for branding, identification or just showing school pride.”

In addition to the original 3D molding process, Gumdrop also offers silk screening and laser etching as options for logo printing.

Custom-molded Drop Tech and Hideaway cases are available in any of the series’ extensive color options for iPad, iPad Mini, Samsung Pro, Samsung Tab 4 and Dell Venue tablets.

Prices range from $10-$30 per case with a minimum order quantity of 300 units.
