Amazon, Facebook & Others In Tech To Commit $300 Million To White House’s Computer Science Push

The donations will be spread out over five years and come as part of a larger push by the Trump administration to direct grant funding toward coding education in U.S. public schools.

“Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Salesforce and other top technology companies plan to commit a total of about $300 million toward boosting computer-science education in the United States, as the White House seeks to prepare more students and workers for jobs of the future.”
