By Amy Gilroy On May 17 2004 - 6:00am

Dual Electronics announced it will offer XM capability in new car audio head units due for release in the third quarter.

The head units will be compatible with the XM Direct tuner option.

Dual entered the United States market approximately 18 months ago, debuting a line of 45 12-volt products at CES in January.

The company also recently announced its first in-dash DVD/monitor.

Dual is a division of Namsung America.
