Denver — Pentax Ricoh Imaging Americas said Tuesday its K-30 DSLR is available now for pre-order through the company’s website.
The K-30 DSLR, which carries an $800 suggested retail for the body and SMC Pentax DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL WR lens kit, features a fashion focus with a choice of nine color options and is rugged enough for outdoor photography enthusiasts.
The K-30 combines a compact, lightweight body and features a weather-, dust- and cold-resistant body; a glass prism optical finder with 100 percent field of view; advanced autofocusing system; and FullHD video recording capabilities.
“The K-30 already offers great features, such as dust and weather sealing, the 100 percent field of view viewfinder and dual control dials that are only found in more expensive cameras,” said John Carlson, Pentax Ricoh senior marketing manager. “By adding additional color choices, the K-30 now appeals to an even wider array of customers who are looking for exciting, personalized options in their digital camera.”
