Panasonic has introduced a trio of noise-canceling headphones that negate sound waves to dramatically reduce extraneous background, primarily low-frequency sound, helping to make life easier on the ear. The noise-canceling function can also be switched off when the user wants to converse or listen to external sound.
Panasonic’s noise-canceling headphones come in three configurations — an ear bud, open air-type and monitor style.
The RP-HC50 ear bud features two-level, noise-canceling, separate controller; up to 50 hours of battery life; and XBS (Extra Bass System). It is available at a suggested $39.95 retail.
The lightweight RP-HC70 includes the same features as the ear bud, but offers a foldable headband design. It is available now at a suggested retail of $49.95.
The foldable RP-HC100 features 36mm-diameter speaker driver units and a neodymium rare-earth magnet for rich, powerful sound. The monitor headband has a frequency response of 8Hz-22Hz and includes a carrying pouch. It is available with a suggested retail of $79.95.
