ZEISS VR ONE Plus Virtual Reality Headset Launches Nationally at Best Buy

Upgraded virtual reality headset available in select Best Buy stores nationwide

August 8, 2016 – ZEISS, an internationally leading technology enterprise operating in the optics and optoelectronics industries, today announces the official in-store launch of its VR ONE Plus virtual reality headset in select Best Buy stores nationwide, and online at The VR ONE Plus will be featured as part of an hands-on display, allowing general consumers to experience its quality hardware and lenses for the first time.

As the successor to the award-winning ZEISS VR ONE, the smartphone-enabled VR ONE Plus is an open-platform, software agnostic VR headset that includes several key changes to improve functionality, most notably a universal smartphone tray. The tray allows the VR ONE plus to accommodate most smartphones with a screen size between 4.7 and 5.5 inches, including the iPhone 6/6S and the iPhone 6 Plus.

Dual operating system compatibility means the VR ONE Plus works with thousands of apps in the Google Play and Apple App stores, including many gaming apps, YouTube 360 degree videos, and Google Street View.
