ST. GEORGE, UTAH—September 30, 2015—Wilson Electronics, parent company of North America's top-selling cell phone signal booster brands for consumers, today launched a new line of professional grade boosters built to bring strong, reliable cell coverage into larger interior spaces.
The Wilson Pro product line features cell boosters designed and engineered for installation in larger areas where signals are generally weak or cannot penetrate because they are blocked by materials used in a building’s construction, such as concrete and steel. Benefits include fewer lost connections, faster uploads and downloads, improved voice quality and longer battery life for cellular devices.
Extensive tests done by independent labs* prove Wilson cell boosters provide an indoor coverage area up to 6 times larger than competing boosters. Wilson signal boosters outperform the competition by delivering:
• higher uplink (phone-to-tower) power for higher user capacity and greater calling range
• higher downlink (tower-to-phone) power for more expansive indoor coverage area
“Wilson’s consumer signal booster lines have proven very popular and we’re receiving requests for professional grade solutions, particularly to provide coverage for larger areas,” said Laine Matthews, recently appointed Director of Commercial Sales for Wilson Electronics. “Our Pro 70 and Pro 70 Plus signal boosters provide installation professionals with products backed by proven technology, that satisfy the needs of their customers.”
How They Work
Wilson Pro booster systems use antennas and an amplifier to capture available cell signals outside a building, boost those signals and redistribute the amplified signals inside the building, ensuring reliable coverage even inside buildings where signals previously were weak or unavailable.
Wilson Pro 70 and Pro 70 Plus boosters work with all cell service providers in the U.S. and Canada, boosting voice and data services, including 4G LTE, for all phones and cellular-enabled devices. Both products are covered by a three-year warranty and are certified by the Federal Communication Commission and Industry Canada.
Their patented self-optimizing Automatic Gain Control design minimizes installation time and automatically adjusts to any change in cell signal conditions, increasing or decreasing the required level of boost for any individual carrier’s signal as needed. Because environmental changes, such as rain, can affect the boosting level inside a building, the Pro line helps businesses avoid frequent adjustments to their cell booster settings so they can spent more time on work and less time on company tech issues.
Pro 70 Plus
The Pro 70 Plus provides the maximum downlink (cell tower to device) power of any competing solution available and allows for more expansive indoor signal coverage area. It also has a built in uplink and downlink power meter that graphically displays the current signal strength readings.
This comprehensive product line expansion has prompted multiple retailers of cell boosters to exclusively stock Wilson Electronics solutions.
“Wilson’s product vision aligns with where we see our business, and we can’t think of a better partner to work with,” said Kevin Taylor, president of online retailer Powerful Signal. “From this point forward, we are exclusively working with Wilson to provide our customers with signal boosters.”
These boosters can be purchased immediately from select resellers and commercial installers, as well as directly from Wilson Electronics. The Pro70 has an MSRP of $1,399 and the Pro70 PLUS $1,799.
