TCC adds 51 stores with acquisitions of Digitell and KC Wireless

INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 3, 2015) TCC, the largest Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer in the U.S., today announces it has acquired 39 Digitell stores located in New Mexico, Arizona and Texas, and 12 KC Wireless stores throughout Pennsylvania. The additions of the Digitell and KC Wireless stores are the latest in a string of five acquisitions for TCC in the past 12 months that have added nearly 200 locations to its overall store count.

All Digitell stores will rebrand as TCC, and each of the Verizon Wireless retailer’s employees will continue working at TCC stores in the following cities:

  • New Mexico: Farmington (2 stores); Albuquerque (2 stores); Gallup; Santa Fe
  • Arizona: Tucson (7 stores); Prescott (2 stores); Mesa; Scottsdale (5 stores); Gilbert; Payson; Phoenix (3 stores); Prescott Valley; Fountain Hills; Flagstaff; Cottonwood; Chandler; Glendale (3 stores); Tempe
  • Texas: El Paso (4 stores)

“Joining the TCC team presents excellent opportunities for Digitell employees and ensures that our customers will continue to receive exceptional service and high-quality products,” said Jan Neuman, general manager of Digitell.

Additionally, the 12 KC Wireless stores will now operate under the TCC banner in the following Pennsylvania cities: Elizabethtown, Red Lion, Hanover, Shrewsbury, Lancaster (3 stores), Gettysburg, Leola, Edwardsville, East Norriton and Lebanon.

“It’s an exciting time for TCC as we have added an unprecedented number of locations to our store count this year,” said Jay Sichting, chief administration officer of TCC. “As we introduce KC Wireless and Digitell employees to the TCC culture, a major area of focus will be our Virtuous Circle of Success, a belief that customers, employees and communities matter equally.”

In addition to offering guests the ultimate experience in interactivity while shopping for wireless devices, accessories and home solutions, TCC gives back to the communities it serves through its Culture of Good program, which holds four annual company-wide donation and volunteer campaigns as well as other initiatives that help generate goodwill.

Since its launch in 1991 with a single store in Marion, Indiana, TCC has grown to operate more than 700 locations in 38 states. In 2015, TCC has acquired 37 Wireless Communications stores in South Carolina and Georgia; 18 Phones Plus stores in the Pacific Northwest; and 88 We R Wireless stores on the East Coast.
