SAN DIEGO, CA – Sony Electronics recently released a new Premium Home app for Apple iPad that provides quick access to product information and technical specifications for Sony’s award-winning lineup of premium TV’s, home theater projectors and sound products. The app was designed from the ground up to provide Sony dealers and integrators with a sales tool that could be used to quickly access product information, make client presentations and train their sales teams on Sony products.
Some of the key features of the app include:
An up-to-date catalog of Sony’s Premium Home Entertainment products, including high-resolution product images, key features, full product specifications and technical documents such as cut sheets
An intuitive, easy-to-use interface that allows quick access and navigation
E-mail integration that allows a user to e-mail documents such as spec sheets from within the app to one or several recipients

Custom Integration for Sony. “Everything an integrator needs, from product features to hook-up diagrams-, across the entire Sony premium home assortment is available in a single, easy to use app.”
Using the Premium Home app, a salesperson can, in a few taps, walk a customer through Sony’s full lineup of premium home entertainment products, access technical documents such as cut sheets in order to determine if the product can be specified for a particular application, and then e-mail a customer a link to a product spec sheet independently or as part of a larger quote.
The app, titled “Premium Home,” is available for download now from the Apple App Store and works with iPads running iOS 6.0 and higher. A version of the app for Android tablets is in progress with a targeted release date of Holiday 2014.
