Scott Wilson Joins Eleven Engineering as Design Engineer

Wilson Will be Based in the Corporate Offices in Edmonton, AB Canada

EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada, Oct. 29, 2019 – Eleven Engineering, Inc. (, a market leader in semiconductor products for wireless audio for home theater, multi-room, portable, professional, 12 Volt (car, truck, motorcycle, power sports, marine) and gaming applications, is proud to announce that Scott Wilson has joined the company as design engineer.

“As our SKAA technologies and products offerings continue to grow, we needed to add to our engineering team to keep up with worldwide demand,” John Sobota, Eleven Engineering CEO and director. “Scott has an impressive engineering education and background, making him the ideal wireless and software development design engineer that we are looking for to help us grow. We are pleased to have Scott on board.”

Wilson graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Engineering Physics – Nanoengineering. During this time he held jobs in an atomic physics laboratory, in software development, and in a computational chemistry research role.

“I found a passion for electronics and firmware through my engineering capstone project in my last year of university,” Wilson explained. “I’m hoping to bring that same excitement to Eleven Engineering and achieving our goal of making SKAA a ubiquitous wireless audio standard. I believe the protocol we are developing has the potential to become a new standard, and I am proud to work alongside the other dedicated engineers at Eleven.”

SKAA wireless lets the integrator easily create a dedicated multi-room home audio superhighway with a long range up to 150 feet with a robust, interference-free low-latency signal eliminating lip-sync issues with TV and gaming. SKAA-enabled products can stream music between them, up to four sets simultaneously – one transmitter to four devices. In environments laden with heavy Wi-Fi and Bluetooth traffic, SKAA navigates through these hostile environments with best-in-class reliability. SKAA also allows for uninterrupted audio signals that are delivered with the highest sound quality to all speakers without the latency that is inherent in other wireless solutions.

SKAA is available as a built-in technology not requiring an external transmitter in purpose-designed partner products. SKAA transmitters work with iOS & Android mobile devices, Mac & Windows computers, televisions, and just about any product with a line output or a headphone jack.
