Revolabs Executive Elite Wins NSCA Excellence in Product Innovation Award

SUDBURY, Mass. — March 28, 2016 — Revolabs(R) today announced its Executive Elite wireless microphone system has been awarded the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) Excellence in Product Innovation Award for Ease in Customization. Chosen by NSCA’s executive director, the editor of Commercial Integrator, and a panel of integrators from across North America, the award highlights products that have a profound impact on systems integrators as well as the user experience.

“With dedicated members including systems contractors, integrators, and manufacturers, the NSCA represents the heart of our industry,” said Rob Claus, director of global channel sales at Revolabs. “It is a privilege to be selected for this award from such an eminent organization. Executive Elite wireless microphone systems really offer system designers and integrators the widest variety of options to suit any installation while guaranteeing Revolabs’ superior audio pickup and quality.”

To enable single-point control for conferences by the customer or for managed service providers, users can configure and monitor their Executive Elite wireless microphone systems locally or globally via local and remote cloud-based services. System administration tasks are simplified through automated alerts about battery levels or microphones going out of range (i.e. wearable mics leaving with the presenter), and by gathering data about microphone and meeting room usage. AVB support provides easy installation and customization of the microphone systems via standard Ethernet cabling to the local network.

With up to four or eight microphones per system, Executive Elite uses over-the-air technology to enable proximate remote antenna receivers to synchronize their signals automatically and allow deployments of multiple Executive Elite receivers. Consequently, within a single room, Executive Elite systems can be synchronized for the highest wireless mic density available: up to 44 wireless channels in North America, South America, and Japan, or 76 in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Furthermore, product service is made easier with field-replaceable standard batteries; remote push of firmware updates; and automatic synchronization of firmware between the base unit, antenna, and all wireless microphones. No “truck rolls” are needed for regular service tasks.

Executive Elite microphones provide superior audio pickup, improved signal-to-noise ratio, easy operation, and enhanced digital signal communication over wireless links. Microphone models include omnidirectional, directional, gooseneck (6-inch and 12-inch options), wearable microphones, and XLR and mini-XLR adapters. A charger holds up to eight microphones simultaneously, providing up to 20 hours of operation on a single charge — even in high-RF settings with receivers up to 300 feet away — while intelligently conserving power during standby times of up to 72 hours. For installations that require permanent microphone xtures with wireless audio, Revolabs’ Cross-Over adapter transforms Executive Elite tabletop microphones into an af xed, permanently powered audio solution. Providing a future-proof and flexible investment in any environment, the solution easily integrates with other A/V system components such as DSP mixers, video codecs, and room control systems.
