Pittsburgh, PA – March 27, 2018 – The 12 PowerHouse Alliance distributor members announce their April training schedule and are offering dealers across the country multiple opportunities for networking and residential and commercial AV education sessions, plus events to attend to see new product demonstrations and special discounted pricing.
In the southeast, 21 Century Distributing is celebrating the retirement of long-time employee Dave Tierney with a week-long blow out event. After 42 years in the AV industry and 11 years with 21 Century Distributing, Dave is retiring as Territory Manager in Florida. Dealers who stop by the Orlando location between April 9 through 13 can say farewell and benefit from a number of walk-in specials on products including bulk wire, Panamax, Sonance, A2V and more, as well as enjoy a catered lunch and enter for a chance to win a pair of PowerHouse Alliance A2V custom speakers in the daily drawing.
Dealers in the southwest can sign up for a variety of trainings from distributor member ECD, including Denon and Luxul training at their Houston, Austin and DFW locations, on April 17 through to 19 respectively. Also taking place at ECD’s Houston location is a KEF Counter Day on April 24, 2GIG training on April 26 and Hikvision Vendor Day on April 27.
Volutone will be joined by LG, BrightSign and Peerless-AV to address the digital signage category, with seven half-day trainings across its seven locations from April 17 through 26. Dealers in Southern California and Las Vegas will learn how to identify sales opportunities and close deals, all while offering easy integrated solutions with great margins.
Member CED is pleased to announce LG 2018 Product Training at its Northbrook, Illinois and New Berlin, Wisconsin locations on April 3 and 4 respectively. Focused specifically on the custom installation market, the trainings will cover integration with Control4, and feature the latest OLED, Wallpaper, and more TV technologies.
Ui Supplies invites dealers to join them for one of two Intro to APEX Trainings from RTI at their Plainview, New York location on April 5. Dealers will purchase and review RTI’s new C2K1 Kit, as well as dive into their APEX Programming software in order to receive Level 1 Certification. Ui Supplies will also host a Middle Atlantic training at their Plainview, New York location on April 19. Participants will be given 1 RU towards CTS renewal and the training will also include an overview MAP product awareness.
EDI announces the relocation of their Seattle, Washington warehouse location from Tukwila to Bellevue and will open the doors on April 23. EDI will also be taking part in the Pacific NW Consumer Electronics Expo (PNWCEE) on April 11 and 12 in Seattle. Attending dealers can sign up for trainings from Samsung and WyreStorm Technologies. and will get to see demonstrations of JVC’s latest projector innovations.
