Pittsburgh, PA – August 21, 2018 – The PowerHouse Alliance is pleased to announce the growth of its A2V product line, created by and available exclusively through PowerHouse Alliance distributor members throughout the US. In addition to its dynamic collection of speakers, racks and TV mounts, A2V now features a comprehensive line of certified premium high-speed HDMI models with twelve certified by HDMI and ten certified by DPL, available from PowerHouse Alliance warehouse locations across the country.
“Since the launch of the A2V line at CEDIA 2017, the response to our racks, mounts, and custom speaker products has been incredible,” said Dennis Holzer, executive director for the PowerHouse Alliance. “In addition to our current offerings, the PowerHouse Alliance distributor members received a number of requests for additional product categories from our dealers, including the need for good quality HDMI cables. We take customer feedback seriously and worked closely with our dealers to develop a new line of A2V HDMI cables built specifically for installers.”
The A2V line of certified premium high-speed HDMI cables features both regular and ultra-slim versions. With lengths ranging from 1-foot to 30-feet, each cable enables the transmission of High Dynamic Range (HDR) video, full 18Gbps bandwidth, and includes UltraHD [email protected] 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Each model is Certified Premium HDMI guaranteeing installations are ready for today’s 4K/UltraHD environment. The new HDMI cables from A2V also support up to 32 audio channels with ARC for a multi-dimensional, immersive audio experience, and can transmit the wide angle theatrical 21:9 video aspect ratio, and HD Audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, and more.
Ensuring the highest standard of build quality and componentry, A2V’s HDMI cables feature SecureFit connectors, which are pull tested up to seven pounds guaranteeing a 45-percent stronger connection than regular HDMI connectors. They are also EMI tested to ensure cables minimize interference with wireless signals, and are UL Listed and CL3 Rated.
In support of the A2V HDMI launch, DPL Laboratories president, Jeffery A. Boccaccio, one of the industry’s foremost experts on high-bandwidth digital signaling solutions, will be in the PowerHouse Alliance booth at CEDIA Expo 2018 on Friday, September 7 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm PT and Saturday, September 8 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, to discuss the details and functions of the new HDMI cables and the difference in their certification procedure.
