FORT WORTH, TX – DEC. 2, 2014 – ProSource—a division of BrandSource and the biggest integration, audio, and video buying group in the country—announced today that it has added Origin Acoustics, a new manufacturer of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers and installation accessories, to its line card, giving ProSource members the exclusive opportunity to launch this unique product to the residential marketplace, along with unparalleled profit opportunities only available through ProSource.
Origin Acoustics, founded by industry luminary Jeremy Burkhardt (founder of SpeakerCraft), launched this year to much buzz for its high-performance architectural speakers, which have larger drivers within smaller wall cavities, meaning more performance from a smaller profile with a minimized affect on aesthetics.
“We’ve have had a great relationship with Jeremy in the past, and look forward to welcoming him back to the industry and to the ProSource group. We share the same passion for the integration channel, and I look forward to working with him and his team to bring Origin’s innovative products to market,” says Jim Ristow, co-president of ProSource. “I would like to thank the members of our custom integration committee who were involved in the process of evaluating this opportunity. This seven-person committee, comprised of ProSource integrators, volunteers time to help make the decisions that shape the future of our organization.”
ProSource will host two introductory webinars to introduce the Origin Acoustics program and its benefits, as well as to discuss evolutionary advances in audio technology. The webinars, available exclusively to ProSource members, will be held on December 10 and December 17 at 1 PM EST. ProSource will be inviting members via an email blast.
