Nationwide Furniture Turning Things Up at PrimeTime

Winston-Salem, NC --The Nationwide Marketing Group is heading to Nashville in just a few weeks for the group’s PrimeTime! show, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland. The group’s theme “We Are Nationwide” celebrates their roster of 3,500+ independents and the many years they have served their local marketplaces.

Nationwide Furniture is ramping things up for their member retailers this year by creating a schedule of unique events that will help all of their members’ capture share in their marketplace. Here are the group’s highlights regarding the furniture division at the upcoming PrimeTime! show:

The group is putting a new spin on the historic “Millions in Minutes” auction and rolling out a new event called “Beat the Clock” that will have unprecedented value for retailers. Attendees will be invited to join the Nationwide Furniture team and many vendors from 3:00pm-600pm on Monday, August 15 for the opportunity to buy products at a truly unmatched price. Retailers won’t know which vendors have multiple products, so they’ll want to take advantage of the deal before that product runs out and before the “clock is up” at 6:00pm. These are deals only available to Nationwide retailers and the group is pleased to introduce this exciting new event.

Nationwide’s Prepare for Share (PFS) module has continued to increase product across all categories over the last three shows. This show, the furniture and bedding divisions will be offering more PFS offers than ever before. Some of these offers will only be available until the end of PrimeTime!, others until the end of the year, but retailers must attend PrimeTime! to capture these exclusive deals, including additional CashBack offers in the furniture category.

The Nationwide Furniture Team will also introduce a new vendor, Malouf. Malouf started 13 years ago with a passion for making personalized, luxurious sleep solutions attainable to anyone. Its wide range of products, including pillows, sheets, frames, protectors and toppers, is designed to create an ideal sleep experience. Malouf's Northern Utah headquarters is part of its 1.5 million square foot presence that, along with its North Carolina facilities, provide industry-leading delivery speeds across the United States.

Several months ago, Nationwide announced the continued expansion of the Learning Academy, the curriculum offered to those attending PrimeTime! with a variety of scheduling options and topics. Furniture and Bedding vendors will be presenting during several of these courses for the first time, discussing their products, marketing strategies and the overall industry trends.

Last but not least, furniture retailers will have the option to attend the Furniture and Bedding Town Hall, where leading furniture and bedding manufacturers will come together to discuss various topics and challenges independent retailers face day to day. This exciting event will be moderated by Nationwide’s good friend and industry icon, Jerry Epperson.
