FAIRFIELD, N.J. — Oct. 14, 2015 — Middle Atlantic Products is set to demonstrate a variety of creative mounting and cable management solutions designed to accommodate the trend toward small devices and free up room for more rackmount equipment. At CEDIA EXPO 2015, electronic systems contractors will get a firsthand look at a range of accessories — including patented shelves and the innovative Lever Lock(TM) Internal Management System — that maximize space within racks or furniture.
On display in the Legrand booth 5412 will be four distinct series of Middle Atlantic rackmount shelves, which installers can use to mount multiple small devices while providing cable management and tie-down points. The shelves on display will include Middle Atlantic’s UMS Series, available in full and half-rack sizes and featuring a patented mounting pattern.
The Lever Lock system’s unique design facilitates cable management and device mounting within the rack through the use of tool-free bars and accessory mounting plates, which can be placed in otherwise open areas of a rack (e.g., between mounted equipment and the side of the rack). This capability gives installers more space for more traditional rackmount equipment.
“Making it easier for integrators to be efficient while delivering cost-effective reliable systems is part of Middle Atlantic’s DNA,” said Tim Troast, director of product management for Middle Atlantic. “The small-device mounting and cable management solutions we are displaying at this year’s expo simplify wire management, which ultimately speeds installs, adds value, and increases system reliability.”
Lever Lock accessories are compatible with nine different series within Middle Atlantic’s product offering, including racks, furniture, and freestanding display mounts.
