What’s New from: Chief | Da-Lite | Luxul | Middle Atlantic | Nuvo | On-Q | QMotion | SANUS | Vantage

Chief Fusion™ Extending Pull-Out Accessory for Extra-Large Displays
The Fusion Extra-Large Pull Out Accessory (FCAXV1U) allows users to extend displays 11.54 inches from the wall while maintaining the same depth as previous Fusion pull-out mounts (FCAV1U). The unit is compatible with Fusion XSM1U and XTM1U Extra-Large Micro-Adjustable Static and Tilt Mounts for installation of 80-inch+ displays up to 250 lbs.

Chief Enhances Proximity® In-Wall Storage Solutions With Middle Atlantic’s Lever Lock™
Chief’s PAC525, PAC526, and PAC527L adjustable-depth, in-wall storage boxes featuring Middle Atlantic’s Lever Lock™ technology offer break-away edges for compatibility with both standard 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch studs. The boxes’ multi-level, multi-sectioned Lever Lock plates make it easier for installers to arrange components in all three dimensions of the storage space and work around difficult port locations on AV equipment.

Da-Lite’s New Screen Surface Selection Calculator
The new Screen Surface Selection Calculator provides an intuitive user interface for simple navigation of Da-Lite’s screen surface technology portfolio, helping installers choose the right surface for any environment. The easy-to-use tool accounts for the differences between lamp- and laser-based projection, as well as the impact of ALR screen surfaces on projection in a room.

Da-Lite Parallax ALR Screens
Da-Lite’s latest screen surface technology, Parallax Stratos, is a high value ALR option that rejects up to 80% of ambient light with a 1.0 gain for standard throw projectors (1.0:1 or greater). This new surface is available in tensioned electric and fixed frame screens to accommodate large-scale installations. Seamless ALR screens can now be ordered up to 16 feet high with Parallax Stratos 1.0. The Parallax Pure line of True Optical ALR surfaces is available in gains of 0.8 and 2.3 for standard throw projectors and UST 0.45 for ultra-short throw projectors. They reject up to 96% of ambient light, providing flat panel quality images up to 120″ diagonal but without the glare and reflection of flat panels.

Luxul Epic Mesh, Now Available
Providing integrators with flexible installation and placement, Luxul’s Epic Mesh MK-10 comes with two tri-band dual-purpose mesh nodes that can each serve as either a router or satellite, and require no wired link between them. Simple to install, integrators turn one of the two nodes into a router using the Luxul Easy Setup App. The other node becomes the satellite, which is plugged into any available outlet to create a powerful wireless mesh. A 4×4 5-GHz dedicated backhaul channel ensures strong connectivity back to the router for the delivery of fast internet to IoT devices located anywhere in the home.

Luxul ProWatch Cloud Management Solution, Now Available
ProWatch allows integrators access to their customers’ Luxul networks via an intuitive web interface, or the ProWatch app for mobile devices or a web console. Site-level indicators provide the online/offline status of connected devices and the availability of firmware updates, while alerts notify integrators of issues via push notifications, text, or email. Using ProWatch, integrators can configure devices remotely; perform firmware updates on select Luxul routers, wireless APs, and controllers; and remotely power-cycle PDUs and PoE switches. Setting up ProWatch is as simple as installing a Luxul router on the network. The ProWatch app automatically discovers the router and configures all connected IP devices — even third-party products.

Luxul Unmanaged PoE+ Switch Family
Available at the beginning of October, the SW-100-04P and SW-100-08P Gigabit PoE+ switches feature compact designs that allow them to be installed in a wide range of locations, including behind displays or inside media cabinets. In addition to a dedicated uplink port for connection to a router or upstream switch, the SW-100-04P features four PoE+ Gigabit ports with a total power budget of 58 Watts, while the SW-100-08P provides eight ports with a total power budget of 92 Watts. Available at the same time, the five-port SW-100-05PD is a PoE+ powered Gigabit switch with PoE pass-through. Without the need for a power supply, the device can be installed virtually anywhere. The SW-100-05PD features a dedicated PoE+ input port, a pass-through Gigabit PoE port capable of powering a PoE/802.11af device up to 15 Watt, four additional non-PoE Gigabit ports, and multiple mounting options.

The Exclusive Choice Collection Dealer Program by Middle Atlantic and SANUS
The custom integration market is evolving at a rapid pace. To keep up, integrators not only need to continually demonstrate differentiating value to their clients, but also operate more efficiently. They need a vendor partner that makes doing business easy. Legrand | AV answers the call with the Choice Collection, a dealer-direct program, providing exclusive access to leading mounts, racks, and accessories from SANUS and Middle Atlantic.

Nuvo P600 DIN Rail Player
The first streaming audio player designed specifically for DIN rail installations, the P600 provides any room with instant access to endless music options — from networked collections to a variety of internet radio and streaming services. To streamline installations, the DIN Rail Player is available in kits for complete two- (NV-P6002Z-NA), three- (NV-P6003Z-NA), or four-zone (NV-P6004Z-NA) systems. In addition to P600s and the PW1060 power supply, each kit includes a Luxul XGS-1005 five-port desktop Gigabit Ethernet switch; On-Q AC1043 half-width DIN rail bracket (AC1043); P600 Power Adapter Cables (NV-P600-PAC) pack; and On-Q Ethernet cables bundle. The four-zone kit includes an additional power supply, bracket, and Power Adapter Cables pack.

Compatible Nuvo Players Now Offer Apple AirPlay 2 Support
Apple AirPlay 2 support has arrived for Nuvo Player Portfolio systems worldwide. Available with select models running software version 2020.2, AirPlay 2 integration allows users to stream content seamlessly from iOS devices to one or more Nuvo players at once, allowing them to enjoy their music throughout the home in perfect sync and control playback with Siri. Player Portfolio devices that natively support AirPlay 2 include Nuvo’s P600 DIN Rail Player and the P5050, P5100, and P5200 Professional Series Players. Other players can be grouped with these models to expand AirPlay 2 streams into even more areas of the home.

On-Q Dual-Purpose In-Wall Enclosures, Coming Soon!
When used for AV storage behind a TV, On-Q’s new In-Wall Enclosures in 9-inch and 17-inch form factors are designed to house cable boxes, streaming players, and more. Further, the 17-inch solution is compatible with the popular 4K and 8K Samsung One-Connect Box. When used as enclosures for structured wiring, the in-wall boxes’ WiFi transparent ABS plastic construction ensures a strong signal from ISP modems/wireless routers. For installation flexibility, the solutions are available with a 5-inch mounting plate, while an included mounting bracket offers 1.5-inches of elevation. The enclosures offer trim rings for a clean installation and flush, removable covers with venting and cable access.

On-Q WiFi-Ready Plastic Structured Wiring Media Enclosures
Made in the USA, On-Q’s enhanced plastic enclosures feature a new reversible hinged door with toolless installation, free integrated trim ring for concealing imperfections in drywall, added structural rigidity, locking capabilities, and other design enhancements that help residential installers save valuable time and money while providing a clean, centralized location for a home’s wired and wireless services. The 20-inch, 30-inch, and 42-inch enclosures are made from UL-rated ABS plastic, allowing installers to secure devices such as wireless routers, access points, or service provider equipment in the cabinet without degrading network performance.

New QMotion Fabric Collection
QMotion has added four new fabric collections — Verona Daylight, Verona Twilight, S Screen Naturals, and E Screen Deco — to its portfolio. Available in 80 trend-setting colors and textures to complement any home’s décor, the collections meet any lighting need — from complete light blockage to minimal lighting filtering and glare control.

SANUS In-Wall Kits
SANUS’ in-wall kits allow installers to neatly conceal power and AV cables inside the wall for a clean and professional look, and include everything needed for a 30-minute installation without requiring hard-wiring or an electrician. The SANUS In-Wall Cable Kit features two paintable grommets, a 10-foot in-wall cable for perfectly positioning wireless speakers at an ideal height, six-foot pre-wired power cord, drill bit, and hole saw. The SANUS In-Wall Power Kit for Soundbar + Mounted TV allows installers to safely extend power to soundbars and accompanying displays, in addition to devices such as cable boxes, digital TV adapters, or streaming media players. The kit includes three power modules, 8 feet of Romex cable, a drywall handsaw, flat-head runner cable, and cut-out template. For installation flexibility, the power modules’ outlets accommodate any type of power plug, including right angles.

SANUS Mounting Solutions for Sonos Arc and Move Speakers
Compatible with most displays from 50 inches to 90 inches, the SANUS Soundbar TV Mount for the Sonos Arc attaches directly to TV mounts, allowing the Arc to move with the display in any direction. Four inches of depth adjustment ensure the Arc’s Dolby Atmos speakers and mics are clear and working properly, while active height adjustment provides access to I/O and power ports. The SANUS Extendable Wall Mount Designed for the Sonos Arc attaches directly to the wall and offers 5 inches of depth-adjustment, while extending to provide easy access to I/O and power ports. For a clean installation, the mount features 10 inches of wide-open wall access for power and cable management using the SANUS In-Wall Power Kit for Soundbar + Mounted TV. The SANUS Indoor/Outdoor Custom Mount for the Sonos Move positions the speaker at an ideal listening height while freeing up counter and table space. A grab-and-go design keeps the Move easily transportable, while a cable management spindle below the mount allows excess cord to be hidden away.
