Rep Firm Phoenix Marketing Group Nabs KLH Audio Line for Florida and Southeast

Noblesville, IN – June 27, 2019 –KLH today announced the appointment of independent manufacturer sales rep firm Phoenix Marketing Group to cover both Florida and the Southeast.

“KLH is the biggest story in the audio category today and we’re seriously pumped,” says Phoenix Marketing Group CEO/President Chris Gilray. “Available is line of bookshelf and floor standing speakers 12 deep that quite honestly are going to make dealers’ jaws drop. They look and perform like speakers 2 – 3 times their price and are backed by a 10-year warranty to boot. From performance to fit-and-finish to price, any of these products will make the dealer look like a hero.”

“The KLH line indeed offers both the AV integrator and specialty retailer something truly special, satisfying 2-channel and home theater applications, with this summer architectural, streaming audio and headphone solutions added to the mix,” says KLH Senior Sales Vice President Greg Topp. “The Phoenix Marketing Group team are all A-players and we’re thrilled to have them join our effort. Together we are seriously going to ‘rock it’ in the Southeast and Florida.”

KLH, well-known in the 1950’s/60’s for legendary co-founder Henry Kloss’ innovative designs, came back onto the scene in 2018 led by David P. Kelley, formerly Klipsch global sales president and board member. Kelley purchased KLH in 2017, assembled a team of former Klipsch and industry executives and in 2018 introduced the brand’s inaugural line.

This consists of the 3-way Kendall, Quincy and Cambridge (2-way) floorstanders; 2-way Ames and Albany bookshelf, Story center, Beacon and Broadway surrounds, and Stratton and Windsor 10- and 12-inch powered subs.

The speakers boast luxurious real-wood veneer finishes, the finest MDF cabinetry, internal components and dampening, and powerful, performance-rich Kevlar drivers with anodized aluminum dome tweeters. To maximize floor models’ bass performance, incorporated are low resonance driver chambers with hand-tunable baffle ports.

This summer the Stratton MH212 1,000-watt Class AB amplified dual 12-inch, side-firing subwoofer joins the mix along with the VX-1 voice enabled amplified keypad and Maxwell and Faraday in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.

This month the Ultimate One dynamic headphone came to market and to fanfare. Also due out this summer are the Ultimate Two sound isolating in-ear monitors.

About KLH
Originally founded in 1957 as KLH Research and Development Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Henry Kloss, Malcolm S. Low, and Josef Anton Hofmann, KLH developed some of the biggest innovations in audio, most notably the Model Eight high-selectivity radio; Model Nine full-range electrostatic loudspeaker; Model Forty tape recorder, and Model Eleven portable phonograph with stereo speakers. In 2017, the brand was acquired by David P. Kelley, formerly President of Global Sales and board member for Klipsch. As president and CEO of KLH, Kelley has taken KLH back to its roots, to Henry Kloss’s original mission, to build world-class loudspeakers and radios at affordable prices beginning with a robust line of bookshelf and floor home theater speakers, as well as updated versions of the iconic Model Nine and Model Eight.
