For a second year the brand is the exclusive headphone sponsor of the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k race series, produced by RAM Racing. Each race concludes with a post-race party where runners enjoy music, a family-friendly kid zone, hot chocolate and chocolate fondue with dippables. JVC is participating in 13 races in 2016, demonstrating its sports headphones at a finish line tent on race day and during the two-day expo that precedes each race where runners pick up their entry packet.
At each event JVC offers participants a chance to win JVC products by snapping photos with the JVC Gumy headphone mascot, Gumbo, and posting the photos to social media. Gumbo is also making visits to local Ronald McDonald Houses, the official charity for the Hot Chocolate 15k/5k.
