ALPHARETTA, Ga., July 26, 2016 – P&F USA, a Philips brand license partner, today announced that its innovative new Google Cast 4K Ultra HD TVs and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player will launch in Canada exclusively through Best Buy.
The new Philips 6000 series TVs feature Google Cast, which allows consumers to use a mobile device to stream movies, music, sports and more from thousands of apps to the new TVs. The new Philips BDP7501 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player is compatible with 4K Ultra HD discs and plays back content at four times the resolution of standard Blu-ray players.

With Google Cast, consumers use their phone to search, browse, queue and control the TV from anywhere in the home. Consumers simply tap the Cast button in Google Cast-enabled apps such as Netflix and YouTube to stream content to their TV with no additional logins or downloads required. The new Philips 6000 series offers four screen sizes – 43-inch class, 49-inch class, 55-inch class and 65-inch class – and in addition to Google Cast features HDR to deliver images with startling brightness, contrast and color.
The new Philips BDP7501 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player is a premium compact design that includes HDR support for true-to-life picture quality when used with an HDR TV.
