Dynaudio Offers Dealers a Unique Firsthand Look at Its People, Processes, Philosophy, and Sonic Proficiency

GLENVIEW, Ill. — Aug. 16, 2017 —

Renowned Danish high-end loudspeaker specialist Dynaudio brought an inaugural group of “ambassadors” to its headquarters and factory in Skanderborg, Denmark for an up-close look at its operations and staff, design and build processes, and portfolio of meticulously crafted innovative speaker systems for home, professional studio, and in-car installations. The tour was part of the launch of Dynaudio’s Ambassador Program, an initiative that introduces dealers to the Dynaudio brand and product line.

“The Dynaudio tour was absolutely one of the more impressive factory tours I’ve done,” said Lance Anderson, owner of Admit One Home Cinema. “The company really does make all of its products in-house, and that’s rare these days. It was also impressive to witness the Danish design process firsthand.”

“Everything we saw, from the huge testing room to the manufacturing facility and finally the wood shop, demonstrated why Dynaudio is the premier brand that it is,” said Jeff Galea, CEO and founder of Boca Theater and Automation. “I have not seen a more organized, professional, and technically fascinating facility in my lifetime. The only thing as remarkable as the facility is the passion and dedication of the entire team running it.”

During the week-long Ambassador Group tour, the executive team from Dynaudio hosted top dealers and integrators from across the United States and introduced them to the unique people, processes, and philosophy behind the iconic Dynaudio brand. Highlights of the trip included a visit to the Danish national broadcast center, DR-Byen, which features more than 400 Dynaudio speakers, as well as excursions to castles, canals, and Copenhagen, plus, of course, the tour of the Dynaudio manufacturing facility.

“I enjoyed meeting so many senior officers and the people who ran specific divisions; it was a great way to be introduced to Dynaudio,” said Greg Simmons, vice president at Eagle Sentry. “I was also impressed by the scope of the company’s car audio business, and by the fact that Dynaudio crafts its cabinets — which come in unique arrays of stylish finishes — right there on site.”

“I think our ambassadors were surprised by the fact that we build every single part of every loudspeaker, right down to the aluminum voice coils, the specially coated tweeter domes, and the MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) woofer cones,” said Andrew Werdean, CEO, Americas for Dynaudio. “Now that they have seen the amazing technology and experienced the outstanding sonic performance of our speakers, they understand who we are.”

Guests in attendance included personnel from Admit One, Atlantic Stereo, Audio Vision SF, Boca Theater & Automation, Crescendo, Eagle Sentry, Environmental Technology Control, Logic Integration, Music for Pleasure, Russ Berger Design Group, Wipliance, and World Wide Stereo.

Dynaudio loudspeakers are a unique combination of innovative driver technology, state-of-the-art manufacturing, and true hand-craftsmanship.
