The Smart EQ Sound Processors Feature Bluetooth Connectivity for Apple and Android Devices
And are Ideal for Tailgating and Sound Competitions.
Heathrow, FL (February 5, 2015) – Dual Electronics Corporation announced today that it is shipping its three new wireless Smart EQ Processors: the DSEQ505BT Dual-branded model and the ASEQ505BT Axxera-branded model for in-car use, and the MEQ15BT Dual-branded model in white for marine use.
All three models are available now, MSRP: $199.
Each processor controls balance, fader, subwoofer gain, and a 7-band EQ with 20 presets from a Bluetooth-connected Android or Apple smartphone (app required, free download). Each processor features three RCA preamp outputs (front/rear/sub), 24-bit DAC, and a 5V line out in Bluetooth streaming mode.
The processor can connect to up to 3 aftermarket amplifiers, and to either an OEM receiver via high-level inputs (speaker wire), or to an aftermarket receiver via RCA inputs.
“We are pleased to be shipping the new Smart EQ Processors,” said Jim Braun, President and CEO of Dual Electronics. “When installed with aftermarket amplifiers, the Smart EQ can demonstrably improve the audio quality of an OEM system, without having to modify the dashboard.”
The Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP) feature allows the user to stream music from a smartphone directly to the Smart EQ Processor, bypassing the receiver. This is ideal for remotely controlling audio playback during tailgating and sound competitions, or for boats and ATVs, which may not have a receiver. Each processor also features signal sensing technology for automatic amplifier remote turn-on, in Bluetooth streaming mode.
The marine Smart EQ Processor, the MEQ15BT, also features conformal coated circuit boards, ensuring maximum longevity in marine and outdoor environments.
