ROCKLEIGH, N.J., Feb. 22, 2016 — Crestron announced today that experienced innovator and industry expert John Clancy has joined the company as its new Vice President of Residential Programs. John comes with a wealth of experience within the industry, having spent the last 23 years at Audio Command Systems, Inc., as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. ACS is a premier residential dealer with multiple locations throughout the country. His programming work, high-level design development, and documentation helped keep ACS at the top of the industry for more than a decade.

Clancy was instrumental in driving ACS to become one of the largest residential audio, home theater, lighting control, and home automation companies in the nation. He led not only the New York headquarters, but also the technology direction of the offices in Boca Raton and Los Angeles. In December 2015, Clancy was elected to the CEDIA® Board of Directors. As the new VP of Residential Programs, Clancy will be responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies, dealer and end user programs, and much more for all of the Crestron residential business.
