Building upon the success of the company’s award-winning line of photography monitors, the new SW320 creative display takes image quality to a whole new level by incorporating high dynamic range (HDR). Spanning a wide color gamut covering 99% of Adobe® RGB and 100% of sRGB, Rec. 709, and the digital cinema industry’s DCI-P3 color spaces, the SW320’s true 10-bit IPS panel and advanced 14-bit lookup table (LUT) deliver spectacular color quality with precise d 2 Delta E values.

BenQ’s SW320 is Technicolor® Color Certified to meet the strict standards for color accuracy used in Hollywood and throughout the media and entertainment industries, with consistent, precise color exactly as content originators intended. The SW320 delivers an ultra-wide color gamut to reach 99% of Adobe RGB, a significantly larger color space than sRGB and Rec. 709, while it also supports DCI-P3 as well as 100% of sRGB and Rec. 709.
Featuring 10-bit color depth, 14-bit 3D LUT and a Delta-E value of d 2, the SW320 offers the truest and most representative view of the original image. HDR increases the overall dynamic range between black and white, so the resulting image appears closer to real life. Brightness uniformity across the screen ensures a more authentic and consistent viewing experience. Palette Master Element Color Calibration allows users to adjust the monitor’s image processing chip without changing the graphic card output data and ensures the monitor’s presets are automatically applied without any adjustments required from session to session.
The included hotkey puck is an easy-to-use remote controller that grants quick switching between the GamutDuo and Advanced Black and White modes. GamutDuo allows simultaneous side-by-side display of content in two different color spaces, such as Adobe RGB and sRGB. Photos can also be viewed in a black-and-white film effect, with three presets for photo previews prior to post-production adjustments. The buttons can also be customized to map other modes or OSD settings, such as brightness and contrast to bring added convenience to photographers.
Finished in a minimalist bezel and adjustable stand design engineered to reduce reflection, the SW320 provides comprehensive connectivity, including a media card reader, USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.0a, and DisplayPort/miniDisplayPort 1.4 supporting Mac® Thunderbolt output. Additionally, the SW320 ships with a detachable shading hood that effectively reduces any screen glare from ambient lighting in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Rounding out the benefits, the SW320 comes equipped with BenQ’s Eye-Care technology, which increases visual comfort while performing common computer tasks. While conventional screens flicker at a rate of 200 times per second, BenQ’s ZeroFlicker” technology eliminates flickering at all brightness levels to effectively reduce eye fatigue and provide a more comfortable viewing experience during prolonged sessions of computer use.
