Aurora Multimedia’s Award-Winning IPX-TC1 A/V Streaming Transceiver Makes Impressive InfoComm Debut

MORGANVILLE, N.J. — June 16, 2015 — Aurora Multimedia, a leading innovator and global provider of state-of-the-art A/V technologies, today announced the InfoComm 2015 debut of its award-winning IPX-TC1 4K IP A/V Streaming Transceiver. Based on Aurora Multimedia’s groundbreaking IPBaseT(TM) technology, the market’s first 4K2K fiber-optic transceiver with zero compression and latency is specifically designed to synergize a wide range of IP/AV technologies — greatly simplifying the overall design, ordering, stocking, and system deployment process.

“Since unveiling the IPX-TC1 at ISE earlier this year, our flagship solution has gained enormous momentum within the marketplace,” said Paul Harris, CEO, Aurora Multimedia. “With a single unit configurable as a transmitter or receiver, matrix capabilities exceeding 128 by 128, and breakaway audio switching, Aurora Multimedia’s revolutionary device lets integrators bring scalable, 4K uncompressed audio and video to an IP streaming environment. We are extremely proud to exhibit such a game-changer in Orlando; the IPX-TC1 is truly unique to the A/V streaming industry.”

Ideal for A/V signal distribution, routing, control, or videowall processing applications, Aurora Multimedia’s IPX-TC1 securely sends audio, video, and data to setups of any size using standard 10G Ethernet fiber and copper switches with a 1G copper tunnel for legacy 1Gbps network devices such as Wi-Fi(R) routers or audio DSP solutions. Already a winner of an ISE 2015 Best of Show Award, the compression and latency-free unit further facilitates installations by providing network-selectable HDMI(R) inputs and outputs, RS-232 connectivity, and IR selection available with either copper 10G or fiber SFP+ port for single or multiport fiber transmissions — guaranteeing secure delivery over large distances.

Based on the BlueRiver(TM) NT platform, the IPX-TC1 is also equipped with an optional slot to add IP capabilities such as USB 2.0 over IP for KVM and/or high-speed data transfer, in addition to Dante(R) audio for easy integration within audio DSP infrastructures. Designed and manufactured in the U.S.A., the transceiver features an OSD menu to streamline the configuration process, includes Aurora Multimedia Control technology, and provides a Web server for the instant integration of portable/Web browsing devices.

The IPX-TC1 will be available in Q4. More information on Aurora Multimedia’s full line of products can be found at www.auroramultimedia.com.
