VAC Services Revamps Its Teleservices Operations

VAC Service has expanded and restructured its Teleservices Division, due to strong growth.

President/CEO Jim Tucker commented when making the announcement, “VAC’s Canadian operations lead the company’s growth in 2001, surging ahead by strong double-digit figures throughout the year, with continuing robust growth forecast in 2002.”

To handled the anticipated growth and maximize the efficiency of its Teleservices Division VAC has converted its Las Vegas Outbound Call Center to an Inbound Call Center, “taking full advantage of the strong service culture of the work force in the area,” the company said.

Karl Lassig, operations VP, noted that this move is, “A win-win situation since VAC’s overall operations, both inbound and outbound, are strengthened with this change.” In addition Cookie Bono, a 12-year VAC veteran who was head of the Las Vegas facility since its inception during 1990, will become national teleservices director for the U.S.

Ian McNeil has been named national teleservices director for Canada. He joined the company in 1996 to head VAC’s Ottawa Office and Teleservices Center.

And Shelley Clark has joined VAC as call center manager for Las Vegas.
