TWICE Honors CE’s Best With Annual Awards

TWICE honored the best retailers, e-tailers and industry greats with its annual Excellence In Retailing Awards during International CES.

The Excellence In Retailing award winners for calendar-year 1999 are the Progressive Retailers Organization (PRO Group) and its largest member, Tweeter Home Entertainment. Also acclaimed at the event were longtime industry retailing executive Saul Gold and former Casio president John McDonald.

TWICE hailed one of its own and presented founding editor, and now editor-at-large, Bob Gerson with a special Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Consumer Electronics Association also honored Gerson, who received the association’s first lifetime Achievement Award, along with Casio Computer chairman Toshio Kashio.

At the same event, etown: The Home Electronics Guide presented its Golden Plug Awards for Product Excellence.
