Staples has joined the Cyber Monday pre-announcement fray with a notebook-heavy lineup of sale-priced Toshiba Satellites, HP Pavilions and Lenovo Ideapads.
Tablets, by Amazon, Apple and Samsung, also figure into the online event, which begins on Nov. 30.
Deals include:

*Toshiba Satellite C55-C5380 with Intel Core i5 processor, $399, from $649;
*Toshiba Satellite C55-C5381 with Intel Core i7 processor, $499, from $749;
*HP Pavilion 14-AB166US 14-inch HD BrightView with Intel Core i3 processor, $300, from $600;
*Lenovo Idea pad with Windows 10, $250, from $380;
* Up to $100 off select Samsung tablets
*Amazon Fire 7-inch tablet bundle, $55, from $80.
The Apple contenders, an iPad Mini 4 for $299, down from $399, and an iPad Air 2 for $449, down from $599, will be available online Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday.
Black Friday deals will also be available online on Thanksgiving, including:
*a selfie stick for $4, from $10;
*15-percent off drones priced from $440 to $100;
*up to $100 off Beats products priced from $99.95 to $299.95;
*$20 off the purchase of two Google Chromecast dongles at $35 each; and
*up to $100 off select Bose products priced from $130 to $300.
Stores will be closed on Turkey Day but will reopen Black Friday morning at 6 a.m.
