Orlando, Fla. — There’s a new company in the making that is out to serve the whole-home needs of A/V and low-voltage integrators and their clients.
The Finest Brands, or TFB, is a Florida start-up that is providing integrators and dealers with premium high-tech products for outdoor kitchens, game rooms, home gyms and offices.
Founder Robert Thomson described TFB as a one-stop, turn-key solution that’s giving integrators access to high-margin, limited-distribution brands like Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Inada massage chairs, Brett Donnelly fine art, and Olhausen billiards and games via a dealer portal on the TFB website.
The portal provides prices and specs, and allows integrators to arrange for design and installation services, which are included in their cost. Single SKUs can be ordered on an as-needed basis, relieving dealers of inventory overhead, and TFB runs two training and certification centers, here and in Denver, that provide hands-on experience in products, sales techniques and support.
“The integrator is already the trusted technology supplier on-the-job,” Thompson said. “Now they can sell high-end, high-tech components for the rest of the house.”
Added Inada USA sales and training director Barrie McCorkle: “The Finest Brands is revolutionary for the A/V industry and we’re excited to be a part of it. This initiative is genius.”
TFB is continuing to ramp up and is expected to make a formal debut this September at CEDIA Expo.
