STORIS has revealed a new feature for the STORIS NextGen system to electronically capture signatures. Retailers can easily roll out this functionality using their current devices and a signature can be taken on any device, regardless of whether it is touch-enabled. By enabling current equipment to accept digital signatures, STORIS NextGen brings immediate cost savings to retailers.

“We are pleased to bring a critical feature to market to support our client’s efforts to go paperless,” said Mark Braun, STORIS NextGen Product Manager. “This is a win-win for retailers who have an immediate avenue to cut operational expenses while also participating in sustainability efforts valued by their customers.”

Signature Capture ensures compliance by reducing disputes related to purchasing special order products, protection plans, and finance plans. Retailers mitigate risk and provide transparency to customers by ensuring customers sign the Terms and Conditions presented directly in STORIS NextGen.

”The last thing customers want after their furniture shopping experience is paperwork,” Braun added. ”By seamlessly integrating necessary forms into our checkout technology, we ensure that the transaction concludes with a positive impression of our brand.”
