Specialty Electronics Nationwide Adds 20 Members

Winston-Salem, N.C. — Specialty Electronics Nationwide (SEN), a division of the Nationwide Marketing Group, has added 20 new members year to date, raising its roster of dealers, installers and system integrators to more than 470 companies.

The additions include Paul’s TV, which operates home-theater shops within furniture stores across the country, and LinkUS, a systems integrator operating in California, Oregon and Nevada.

“Our membership continues to grow at a rapid pace,” said SEN executive director Jeannette Howe. “When you combine the strength of our vendor programs and our … member services with the team here at Nationwide, you end up with a winning combination for our members.”

Howe said she doesn’t see the trend ending anytime soon. “We plan on a dramatic increase in membership in 2013 and have exciting new programs with companies such as Control4, Key Digital, ButtKicker, American Express and Office Depot to bring our members continued growth.”

SEN parent Nationwide has similarly been increasing membership and buying power at a healthy clip, with some 200 net member additions and an added $500 million in volume year over year.  Recent arrivals include TWICE Top 100 dealers Micro Center, Jetson TV & Appliance Centers and Badcock Home Furnishing Centers, and the group also expanded into Canada with last year’s acquisition of the $2 billion Cantrex Nationwide division.

Nationwide now has more than 3,500 members with more than 10,000 storefronts generating a combined $14 billion in major appliance, consumer electronics and home-furnishings sales volume, the group said.
