Sennheiser Taps Synnex’s New Age For Retail Distribution

Sennheiser has extended its relationship with Synnex beyond the commercial channel.

Effective immediately, New Age Electronics, Synnex’s national CE and gaming subsidiary, will distribute a select assortment of the manufacturer’s home audio, sports, lifestyle and gaming headphones and accessories to retailers within “strategically targeted segments.”

New Age will also offer bundled solutions “to increase the end-user value offering,” the partners said.

“Our agreement with New Age Electronics enables us to reach strategic retail segments more efficiently, increasing both our market penetration and brand awareness in the U.S.,” said Keith Kranepool, Sennheiser’s Americas sales VP. “By leveraging New Age Electronics’ network of retailers, we have an immediate opportunity to increase our success in the gaming, sports and lifestyle segments, among others.”

Added New Age president Fred Towns, “We are very pleased to be working with Sennheiser to deliver the high-quality design and legendary sound of their headphones to select retailers. Our agreement allows us to reach the early adopters and sophisticated listeners in today’s marketplace who are looking for a superior audio experience catered to fit their lifestyle.”

Synnex, a global logistics services provider, already distributes Sennheiser’s conferencing systems, microphones and wireless equipment to A/V systems integrators for use within the commercial channel.
