Best Buy is growing its same-day delivery program.
Not only is the retailer adding cities where consumers can order products from BestBuy.com and receive them just a few hours later, it’s also expanding the number of products available for same-day fulfillment. Best Buy is also trimming the price to $5.99 for the service, down from $14.99.
Same-day delivery is expanding from 13 metro areas to 27. Beginning tomorrow, it will become newly available in San Antonio and Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati and Columbus; Denver; Kansas City, Kan.; Minneapolis/St. Paul; Orlando and Tampa, Fla.; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; and San Diego and Sacramento, Calif.
More cities will be added this fall, and Best Buy said nearly 40 cities will be eligible by the holiday season.

Orders are fulfilled by Deliv and another unnamed company with a similar crowdsourced-labor model.
