ProSource, the $4.5 billion A/V and custom integration buying group, separated its field management function from that of parent organization BrandSource.

Fort Worth, Texas – ProSource, the $4.5 billion A/V and custom integration buying group, has separated its field management function from that of parent organization BrandSource.

The group’s new, dedicated district management team will provide more specialized support to its 500-plus members, the group said.

 “This change will allow us to tailor the duties and responsibilities of our field team towards a 100-percent focus on the CE categories and the business demands that are most important to our dealer base,” said ProSource president/CEO Dave Workman.

Under the new structure, the function has been divided into five districts, each with a dedicated staffer in place to address dealer needs and further develop a network of communication between members, the group said.

Heading the field management function is longtime membership director Sherry Dantonio and field management director Tim Bashford.

 “With the pace of change and dynamics in custom integration and the CE business overall, our dealers require an increased level of specialization from the field team, and this change directly aligns with our company’s ‘member’s first’ philosophy,” Workman said.

The announcement comes two weeks out from ProSource’s annual spring meeting, which runs June 1-5 in San Antonio, Texas.
