PRO Group announced at CEDIA Expo that the majority of its members will partner with iBiquity Digital and the HD Digital Radio Alliance to market and sell higher-end HD-Radio products beginning in the fourth quarter.
The partnership includes market-specific radio ads that begin airing Oct. 1 featuring each group member individually. All PRO dealers included in the roll out will highlight HD-Radio-equipped models in their stores and will provide demonstrations of the products' capabilities.
"HD-Radio technology is a must-have feature for any state-of-the-art audio system," said PRO Group executive director and COO David Workman. "We are enthusiastic about offering consumers a variety of HD-Radio products."
