Phone Surgeons, the nationwide network of mobile device technicians, has hung up its shingle at BrandsMart USA.
The three-year-old business, founded by CEO Chris Jourdan, features franchised and company-owned walk-in clinics and in-store kiosks, and also makes phone-repair house calls.
The company landed a major patient last year in Nebraska Furniture Mart, for which it provides “Urgent Cares” repair desks by the mobile departments of its Omaha, Neb., Kansas City, Kan., and Dallas megastores.
After extending that partnership through a multi-year deal, Phone Surgeons is now operating in all six Florida stores of fellow NATM dealer BrandsMart USA, and will enter its two Atlanta-area stores next quarter.
For consumers, the “surgeons” can replace screens, batteries, charging ports, jacks, buttons and sensors; backup and recover data; and repair water-damaged devices for all makes, models, operating systems and carriers, the company said.
For retailers, the service can draw traffic, contribute revenue and provide a captive in-store audience while shoppers’ phones are worked on.
Phone Surgeons promises same-day repairs with most performed within an hour, as well as a free diagnoses and estimates.
“We’re excited to be working with such an incredible organization as BrandsMart USA, renowned for offering loyal customers their favorite brands and great values,” Jourdan said.
Added BrandsMart store operations/store design VP Tom Freeman: “We’re excited about this partnership with Phone Surgeons and believe that it will help strengthen our offering.”
