See what the No. 2 product was

Consumers spent $3.7 billion on Thanksgiving, Adobe Analytics said, up 27.9 percent from last year.

Tech, of course, topped the shopping lists. The top five products on Turkey Day were:

  1. Nintendo Switch
  2. Beats
  3. Hot Wheels
  4. Red Dead Redemption 2
  5. Hatchibabies.

Retail sales for November currently tally $38 billion, according to Adobe, which polls 80 of the top 100 U.S. retailers.

Retailers are widely anticipated to have a strong holiday selling season this year, aided by increasing consumer confidence and the longest possible shopping period between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Around 164 million people are expected to shop in the five-day Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday period this year, according to the National Retail Federation. Adobe expects more than $1 for $6 spent at retail to be spent online this holiday season, with smartphones accounting for a quarter of these dollars.
